Preparing Your Energy For The Holiday Season

There will be a lot of energy floating around with the hectic holiday season approaching. If you’re an empath, you know how difficult this can (and will) be. Overwhelmed by energy can cause you to have considerable anxiety, difficulty breathing, lack of concentration, mood changes, and other bad effects. There will be a lot of worked up energy with relatives and friends visiting, which can be too much to bear. Holidays can be stressful and awful if you don’t understand this. It’s one thing to prepare your home for the holidays, but what about yourself? Preparing yourself and your energy field is critical if you want to cope better with the holiday challenges. You’ll be able to handle the holiday tension a lot easier if you can harness your own energy and make it to a point where nothing can annoy you. But it’s not just holiday stress; it’s also regular pressures like your career, daily chores, and everything else that can generate anxiety in your life. By acting instead of reacting, you can eliminate and prevent your energy from being bothered.

Meditation

Meditation is extremally important to incorporate in your life if you haven’t done so already. Meditation is known to boost two major chemicals in your brain known as growth hormone and DHEA. Meditation has the ability to activate the growth hormone to not only boost your energy by double, but to also grow your brain in size. No joke, there have been studies to prove this fact. Music

Ridding the body, objects, and spaces of negative energy can help welcome in newer, fresher, and more positive energies. This is a very nice thing to do before holiday gatherings in your home. White sage purifies, heals and cleans your energy which makes it a great practice to include in your daily life rather you’re getting ready for gatherings or taking on chores. White sage is an excellent choice to remove unwanted energies that may be dragging you down or limiting your personal and spiritual growth after the relatives has wired down for the evening. You can even burn white sage incense to create a lasting and comfortable energy space for you to escape to if needed.

Relaxing Tea

Consuming specific teas can keep a balance within yourself to tolerate unbearable energy. Jasmine is a go-to favorite as it has powerful calming abilities. Jasmine tea has been around for centuries and is a favorite to consume after a long and stressful day. Just the fragrance of jasmine alone can increase your mood. A good relaxing and calming blend that you can make for the entire household is iced jasmine and lavender tea. Lavender calms nerves, acts as a sedative, eases tension headaches, and promotes great relaxation. Chamomile tea also promotes relaxation and sense of peace. Perhaps you want a dual-purpose tea. Peppermint tea not only promotes relaxation and calm but relieves stomach that are aching/upset.

Grounding (Earthing)

Grounding or, earthing is a very well-known technique that many empaths, lightworkers and Starseed’s do to balance their energy. It’s as simple as walking barefooted on the ground. It’s amazing the benefit’s you can receive from mother earth.

Just 15mins a day is all is needed however, don’t feel obligated to follow what other people do. Do what you feel is right for yourself, ground 30mins a day or every 30mins. Whatever you feel is feasible for you, do it.

Affirmations

Affirmations are powerful short lines that a lot of people live with to help them get through certain situations. A positive mental attitude supported by affirmations will achieve success in anything. Reason is, your mind is absolutely powerful and you can achieve anything if you truly believe. Your mind is so powerful that if you believe so strongly that you are sick, you can make it a reality. Same with a woman who wants to be pregnant so bad, she will create pregnancy symptoms and not even be pregnant. Keeping your energy strong and positive this holiday season should be a goal and by using certain affirmations you can assure to make your goal a reality.
